The Viceroy
The Viceroy project started as a promising new construction home. The overall desired look of the home was “masculine opulence”. By the time the project was completed, we achieved a rich blend of velvet, Carrera marble, stainless steel, rich hardwoods and leather.
In the kitchen we incorporated oversized glass teardrop pendants over commercial grade polished steel and black leather Zola bar stools. We were working with an open space, so the sofa was designed to float between the media wall and the kitchen island. This open plan was great because it enabled conversation with guests in both the kitchen and living room.
To best serve our client’s needs, we specified our Kiley sofa, which comes with an oversized detached ottoman for extra lounge room. The best part about the Kiley is that the ottoman can be positioned at either the front or the back of the sofa, for a more modern utilitarian look and feel. This is truly an entertainer's sofa.
In the dining room, we installed our 94" aluminum clad Boston table with eight of our gray linen/Aspen gray Conner dining chairs. The room was completed using a vintage Rosewood elephant doorframe that came from India, to be used in conjunction with a large 72" floor standing mirror to create a lasting impression.
In the master bedroom, we installed our custom Mayfield bed in smoke colored velvet Fleurs-de-Lis. In place of traditional bedside tables, we used our custom cube shaped trunks clad in vintage black leather. Our client wished to incorporate deep red color in his bedroom, which was achieved by installing custom red velvet curtains behind a pair of our American Bella chairs, covered in our Flagstaff Candied Apple red leather.
Once completed, the "Viceroy" project was a huge success. Viceroy's newly constructed dream home was designed to be both masculine and beautiful, with a supremely chic aesthetic.
