"Maria's Journey" Book Signing at 24e!

Maria's Journey Book Signing at 24e! January 23rd 5-7 we will be hosting a book signing for Maria's Journey by Ramon Arredondo & Trisha (Hull) Arredondo! Come show your love, learn about the journey, and support the author's Education Fund!

Maria's Journey, published August of 2010, has been nominated for two awards, and consistently receives extrordinary reviews. The book came about from Ray's desire to honor his mother, who had encountered (and triumphantly overcame) many adversities motivated by her need to give her children the opportunity for a better life in America. Ramon and Trisha sought to preserve the wisdom adn love that she had passed on through her example of hard work, faith, persistence, and beliefs that America gave unlimited opportunities to those willing to work for them. After much encourgement from loved ones and interest from the Indiana Historical Society, their original plan expanded into a method of inspiring others. They set up an educational fund to contribute to students exhibiting both need and the "fire in the belly" required for success. This is another set styled by Darcy, one of our amazing designers. The Sahara is a sexy red leather that spices up any environment. On this chair and ottoman you get a bold statement that will draw anyone into its setting. Can you imagine this as a couch? You'll be competing for the attention of your guests. Functional Ceramic Sculptures

Take a look at some of our newest & coolest additions. These sculptures aren't just super cool, they're completely functional and unique.

If you've been in the store in the past two weeks then you've probably seen these awesome ceramic pieces. These bowls, platters, and vases are all scattered around the store. The level of detail on these is absolutely amazing, and the care he has put into crafting each one is undeniable. From Shayne's Site: Shayne Greco was born and raised in New Jersey, but spends his adult life on the southern end of the east coast. His artistic endeavors were supported by his mother and honed by his teachers. “I was encouraged as a youth to express creativity through many diverse mediums. From paper mach'e fish while summering on the east coast to pastel drawings of the winter sunrise over the Colorado mountains, I was blessed to be exposed to so many different forms of artistic expression."
