Johnathan Darcy,
better known as Darcy, transplanted into Savannah from Greenville, SC where he
spent much of his youth working with numerous designers and firms gaining real
world experience at a very young age. Pursuing his passion and love for design
he found Savannah College of Art and Design where he would study Interior
Design. Darcy draws inspiration in his design work, window displays and store
layouts from the simplicity of clean, fun, and functional design.
"Inspiration surrounds us everywhere in our daily lives; from fashion to
nature, it’s in the smallest of details. In design it’s important to take what
inspires you and to incorporate it in a way of your own way to make it
work for you and your space."
Clients enjoy his genuine southern
hospitality and rich passion for design, allowing him to apply his natural born
skill set into the design process. Darcy brings a professional eye to all
aspect of design, aiding those in need with everything from fabric selections
and spacial planning, to designing custom homes from ground up. "What I
enjoy more than anything is giving someone a space that they walk into every
day and still want to show it off to friends and family. Live comfortably, live
bold, live through design. I like to share the world as I see it, mixing
patterns, textures and having fun with design."
Darcy joined the 24e family in fall
2007 and has been an active part of the growth and vision of 24e Design Co.
brand since. Applying himself in all aspects of the company he stands behind
the 24e Design Co. powerhouse as the General Manager, Visual Engineer, and one
of the Interior Designers. "Interior Design is just another way of express
yourself, evoking an emotional state by your surroundings."
